Pennsylvania County Radon Risk Index
Pennsylvania has the highest radon exposure risk of any state in the continental U.S. Thirty-seven of the Commonwealth's 67 counties are classified as EPA Zone 1 — the highest radon potential tier — and approximately 40% of tested homes statewide exceed the EPA 4.0 pCi/L action level. This index aggregates the counties covered by PA Radon Hub into a single risk-and-coverage table, with links to county-level radon data, geological context, and DEP-certified contractor connections.
Each county page pulls risk data and city coverage from the statewide cities directory and aggregates EPA zone, average home-exceedance rate, and geology information for the county. PA Radon Hub is an independent informational resource — we do not perform testing or mitigation.
