Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 23, 2026 · Last Updated: March 23, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using www.paradonhub.com (“the Site”), operated by PA Radon Hub (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Nature of Our Service
PA Radon Hub is an independent informational resource. We provide educational content about radon risk in Pennsylvania and connect homeowners with independent, DEP-certified radon professionals.
We do not perform radon testing or mitigation. We are not a radon testing company, a radon mitigation contractor, or a licensed professional service provider. We do not employ, supervise, or control the radon professionals listed on or connected through this Site.
All radon testing, mitigation, and related services are performed by independent, third-party contractors who hold their own PA DEP certifications. We do not guarantee, warrant, or endorse the work, qualifications, or results of any contractor connected through this Site.
No Professional Advice
The information on this Site is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice regarding radon testing, mitigation engineering, real estate transactions, health risks, or legal compliance.
Content on this Site references Pennsylvania radon regulations, including Senate Bill 760, EPA guidelines, and PA DEP certification requirements. While we strive for accuracy, regulatory information may change and our content may not reflect the most current requirements at the time you read it.
Always consult directly with:
- A DEP-certified radon professional for testing and mitigation decisions
- A licensed real estate attorney for transaction-related radon disclosure questions
- The PA DEP Bureau of Radiation Protection for current certification and regulatory information
- A qualified physician for health concerns related to radon exposure
Contractor Verification
We state that professionals connected through this Site are DEP-certified based on information available to us at the time of listing. Certification status can change. You are responsible for independently verifying any contractor's current DEP certification status through the PA DEP Bureau of Radiation Protection before entering into any service agreement.
We are not liable for any contractor whose certification has lapsed, been revoked, or is otherwise invalid at the time services are performed.
Lead Form Submissions
When you submit a lead request form on this Site, your information is routed to a DEP-certified radon professional in your area. By submitting the form, you consent to being contacted by the assigned professional regarding radon services.
Submitting a lead form does not create a contract for services, an obligation to hire any contractor, or a client relationship with PA Radon Hub. You are under no obligation to engage with the professional who contacts you.
Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on this Site, including radon risk data, cost estimates, geological descriptions, and regulatory references. However:
- Radon levels vary by individual property and cannot be predicted from regional data alone
- Cost estimates are approximate ranges based on regional market data, not binding quotes
- Geological descriptions are general characterizations, not site-specific assessments
- EPA zone classifications are county-level designations that may not reflect conditions at any specific property
The only way to determine radon levels in a specific property is professional testing by a DEP-certified tester.
Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, page layouts, and data compilations — is the property of PA Radon Hub or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PA Radon Hub, its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, reliance on any information provided on the Site, or any interaction with contractors connected through the Site.
This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:
- Radon test results or mitigation outcomes
- Contractor performance, pricing, scheduling, or conduct
- Real estate transaction decisions influenced by Site content
- Health outcomes related to radon exposure
- Regulatory compliance decisions based on Site content
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, which in most cases is zero.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PA Radon Hub, its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your interaction with any contractor connected through the Site.
Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including PA DEP, EPA, USGS, and contractor websites. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
